Christin takes food formulations from Food Consulting Company clients through production to compliant food labels, supported by a sound regulatory strategy. She offers extensive experience in database nutrient analysis with a specialty in recipes for cookbooks, newspapers, recipe development, restaurant and food service operations, as well as developing compliant restaurant, cafeteria and food service menus.
Christin began her career in food labeling in 1993 and has experience in a wide variety of product categories with a main focus on FDA regulated products. Her previous work includes working with manufacturers, distributors, restaurants, brokers, cottage industry start-ups and some of the nation’s largest retailers. Christin is also an introductory and advanced-level trainer for Genesis SQL nutrient analysis/food labeling software, teaching groups and individual companies how to use the software most effectively.
Christin holds a bachelor’s degree in Foods and Nutrition from Kent State University and did her Dietetic Internship at the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. Christin is a Registered Dietitian and also a Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE).
